On April 20, 2026, the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ) published Regulation (EU) 2026/859, which added Article 83 to REACH Annex XVII, officially imposing restrictions on 2,4-dinitrotoluene. This regulation will come into effect 20 days after its publication.
